We spent this afternoon at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center in Monona learning about, catching and observing insects.
The kids had a blast and we learned a lot!
Did you know that a bug is merely one type of insect?
Did you know that lady bugs are actually called lady beetles?

I recall playing with fuzzy caterpillars like that. We called them "wooly bears." I wonder if that's what the teachers at Aldo Leopold call them? I love reading about all the doings of the Room 103 friends. Keep the blog posts coming!
